Making Progress

I've been able to spend quite a bit of time hooking the cover for the footstool - it's so enjoyable to sit for hours and hook - I'm lovin' it! This is what it looks like as of tonight.

Amazing colors!! This is what I'm trying to accomplish in my dyeing experiments. This is a beautiful pattern. I also like the idea of doing the background right along with the design.
Very Nice!

You are really booting it through this footstool - no pun intended. The colours are incredible and I'm sure you will have a very ecstatic ma-in-law at the end.
And those chairs and pads were awesome - thanks for sharing.

How beautiful! I have tried hooking, but just haven't gotten the hang of the color and I am slower than molasses.

I love your blend of colors and textures on this footstool gayle - you are flying thru so it's obvious that you are really enjoying this piece. I bet your MIL will love it - what a great match for her chair. Melody

Hi Gayle, Thanks for stopping by my blog. I think your footstool rug is going to look great. I wanted to ask what kind of backing you decided to use? I brought a frame last fall to start hooking but so far only done a couple of little pieces. I hope to soon start on some chair cushions for my kitchen chairs.
Have a great evening.
