And today I stitched up this little piece by following Pam Buda's SAL instructions. It was fun to do some quick sewing after hooking exclusively for many days. Notice that this is very scrappy too!
It was very easy to find the ingredients for this project since I have these three containers in my studio full of 1-1/2" squares. One of dark, one of light, and one of HSTs.

Fun and colorful little rug! Matches great with the block you made. I love the fabrics you used!
Both your projects turned out great. Am glad to know I'm not the only person who saves small scraps for future projects

Both projects are fabulous!
Your little cat paws chair pad rug turned out fantastic and matches the the quilt square perfectly. It would make a great pillow.

Love how your stool cover came out, and the block, so much fun to work with scraps.

I love scrappy too! These are wonderful! Hope you find your stool!
Makes me happy to see your scrap projects, too!
Wonderful little rug. Hope you find just the right stool for it.
Good job on Tucker. The more I see of everyone else's, the more I wonder if I should unpick mine.
Wonderful little projects!
I love your projects, just too cute!
Love your scrappy little rug and quilt, they make me smile!!!!
I am in love with your little hooked piece....makes me smile!
Both are super cute!
Your little hooked mat is beautiful, Gayle. I love the bright colors with a touch of black. Maybe you can find a place of honor for it so many people can enjoy its beauty?!
And your little quilt looks almost like a mate to the rug. It's bright, happy, and cheerful. I've been following Tucker and cut some squares but haven't sewn a stitch on it yet. I hope it make it, though, and maybe one of Lori's quilt-along quilts. I've never sewn a small quilt. I suppose one has to be super accurate!
