Lauren tells me that I forgot to show a picture of the rug I'm working on in my last post, so I thought I'd share it here. It's a scrappy rug - I'm using lots of leftover worms - and it's kinda mindless so it's easy to hook. Nothing spectacular - but it'll look good on my dining room table with a big wooden bowl full of 'goodies' displayed right in the middle of it.

I think it's already spectacular...It's awesome! I love all the different colors...I can just picture the wooden bowl with this beauty under it!

Courtney
looks great!
I wish we had a rug hooking supply shop somewhere in Central Florida. I so would like to learn how.
Love all the cheerful colors!

Love your border design and choice of colors. That is an excellent use of left over wool strips...good job.
Very pretty! The stripes with the floral border is a nice combination and will work where ever you want it to. Good job!
Hi Gayle. Let me know if this comment comes through the way you want. I'm a little confused because other bloggers get my comments by email (I think you are saying that you don't). All this high tech! But we love it! Oh, and your scrappy rug is gonna be great. Can't wait to see more of it.
Mindless or not, this is a beauty! I like the way the center looks like rail fence blocks. And the floral border is a wonderful touch. I know nothing about rug hooking, but I know this looks great! : )
Oh, I love scrappy rugs...they are my very favorite to look at and to hook. Not sure if it's truly mindless though. It's kind of fun to see the random hit and miss with the more organized border.
Wonderful - so colorful!
Super rug. I've been looking around your blog and it's brilliant. Thanks for sharing.
the color is amazing! great job and using left overs always great.

You are very talented. It's beautiful. I have a rug hooking kit in my closet but haven't the courage to begin.

I love the simplicity of it, and esp. the colors!
This is a really cool design. I love that you can use up loose ends. I have always loved the look of hooking but never tried it.
Such a fun border...
So pretty.
