I saw a wonderful sheep while shopping yesterday that I would love to add to my collection. It was very creative and original, plus it had a sweet black face that all my sheep must have. And it was very hefty - standing about 24" tall. Unfortunately, the price tag was WAY out of my price range at $580! I love going to Anthropologie to window shop and get inspiration, but I have never bought anything there and doubt I ever will.

ah, come on....buy two or three! I always wonder if people really do spend that kind of money on those items, or if they just sit in the store forever.(Although it really is your kind of lamb.)
Have you ever watched the show on the Discovery Channel (I think) about the buyer that goes around the world and finds these things? I'll have to check the listings - the name escapes me right now but it's fun to watch. Love the sheepie too but yep, a bit out of my price range as well.
Duh! The show is about the Anthropologie buyer....
Gayle ~ I used to work for a shop that sold some of those very high priced items. Often, the person who buys the high-end things are decorators.
Well, it sure is interesting. What was it made of. It looks kinda like one of those wire metal scrubby things stretched over it, but than I don't think they come that big.
I visit Anthropologies when I go visit my daughter. Interesting place, I don't buy there either.
That's a lot of money for a sheep! It is a nice one though!
Heck, for that amount of moolah, you could probably buy two real sheep, if you want to become Farmer Gayle.
Pug hugs :)

something tells me you will think of away to make one yourself!
Seems to me that was a Baaaaa.....d
price! Sorry, couldn't resist!
Oh...I love it...but seriously...way too much money!! I think we could certainly make one for that amount of money...lol I love sheep. Dianntha
The sheep is adorable. How fun to find him. You definitely have a nice blog. (Like the name and we have a lot in common--*middle sister, *name, and Utah.LOL)
Stop by for a visit,
Gayle
I agree with Lauren. Buy a couple of real ones for that kind of money.......and the hay too! I like it a lot though! Wouldn't he look cute on the front porch! Cathy G
Adorable sheep but way too high for me! Great blog love all the pictures.
I've bought a butter dish and a cabinet knob there. The knob cost double what the thrifted cabinet cost...Mimi
