First Block Done

I've got one block all stitched down - I use the invisible machine applique method that Kim Diehl teaches. Four more applique blocks, four pieced blocks, and a couple of borders to go till I'm done.

  1. Ahh, the reward of all that prep work you showed us a couple of posts ago. Very nice, Gayle. Which Kim Diehl pattern is this? I have some of her books, but am only just now planning my first project from one of them.

  8. Hi Gayle, can you believe that I just realized that I didn't had your blog on my blog list! I'm always in a rush when I'm on the computer for things other than work and totally forgot that I hadn't added you on there. So now you are being followed, sister, lol.

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it very much.
I must say that your block is beautiful. It must be very fast to applique with the machine. I did mine by hand but I rather enjoy it. It's like embroidery almost .
I can't wait to see your quilt finished.
    Happy Easter . JB
